• In my current role I am responsible for all aspects of the retail sales operations, outside sales and business to business sales, and creative revenue streams. Additionally, I have responsibility for communicating our brand locally and throughout the state to drive revenue through many channels and platforms.
o Mainly through twitter and facebook I help promote our business through non-traditional marketing and advertising methods. Using my creative talents, I help implement other social media driven awareness through platforms like foursquare and Google+. Also, I work to make our brand more flexible through mobile payment systems like Square.
o In the retail sales piece of our business, I work to build brand loyalty through employee training and excellent customer service. I lead a team of rockstars to be brand champions and deliver results.
Membership & Development Coordinator @ EdVenture Columbia, SC February 2009 – September 2010
• While at EdVenture, I was chiefly responsible for the $200K+ annual membership program. I had additional responsibility relating to annual giving and fundraising events. I served as a hybrid member of the marketing staff supporting our branding efforts both traditionally and non-traditionally. Also, I partnered with the museum’s Creative Director to lead all social media efforts.
o A go-getter team member in the Development Department, I supported all of the museum’s fundraising events from the Annual Gala to Corporate Donor Breakfast events. I was responsible for budget, planning, and execution of our First Families quarterly parties as well as member appreciation events.
o I spearheaded the design process that pushed the museum to be edgier with its electronic communication. Using my creative initiative, I collaborated with team members to create an end product which ultimately proved successful with membership, attendance, and other areas.
o Along with the Creative Director, I worked to push EdVenture into the social stratosphere through platforms like facebook and twitter, flickr and blogging.
